1. After the results in Tuesday's Acela primaries, the presidential chances of Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders have passed from a forlorn, but still reality-based, “stranger things have happened” hope, to pure fantasyland.
I can’t think of anything more depressing.

Sadly, Bernie Sanders didn't realistically have a chance from day one. The democrats created the "superdelegate" precisely for the reason of keeping candidates the people would choose like Bernie down to insure their establishment candidate gets in so they can keep their power status quo. There is no "for the people, by the people" anymore.
  3. Either way you look at it, we're screwed here. But if Clinton gets elected, we'll be proper fucked.
  4. I like the way Bernie talks, but I don't know if he's got the stones to back that up when he's in office. Everyone digs up videos of him saying the same thing for years, but if you really look into Bernie's political career it's all talk no action. He's good ideas but has never been able to bring them to fruit.

I think Clinton is the most solid choice America has. She has a lot of political experience and a history of actually getting things done. She will not crack under pressure, 100%. She went into that Benghazi Witch Hunt and put all those wolves into their place. The way she handled that situation made people realize she could stand up to the likes of Putin and Kim Jong Un. Let's say you don't like Hillary. Even if you hate here with every fiber of your body, you should still vote for her because Hillary in the White House means Bill is in the White House. When everyone talks about "the good old days" in America, they all refer to Bill Clinton's terms as President. Not to mention Bill Clinton has been doing a lot of good work globally since he's left the White House. If you don't want to vote for Hillary, do yourself a favor and vote for Bill.
  5. It is time to get rid of the 2 Party system I guess. How come that a nation with that huge population can't have 4 or 5 intelligent solid candidates who really represent the people? I think by the way that Cruz might be even more dangerous than Trump.
  6. I totally agree with the two posts above me, if I was American I'd probably vote for Sanders. Since I think he's the less evil of the 4 major canidates now. But when it comes to Cruz/Trump, I'd probably go for Trump because Cruz is just as crazy but he also has a very strong religious side. Which scares the shit out of me (religion as a whole does that, since it's taken so fucking seriously).

Either way, Trump/Clinton..... I really can't choose for one of them while being 100% sure. It's really a choise between two evils, but I probably go for Clinton.
  7. U2 must be really scary as they are very much a religious band. Bono especially is an incredibly religious man.
  8. But Cruz and the other Republican candidates that declare themselves "Christians" totally misrepresent Christians.
  9. I think the difference is that Bono (and many others) are very spiritual about seeking their own truth with the help of God. They do not force their religion on anyone, they don't proclaim they know everything and their primary message is to love and coexist with eachother. In my opinion that is what religion should really be about.
  10. As long as they/he keep it to themself I'm alright with it. But yeah, I cringe when Bono shouts things about god and religion during concerts.
Besides that, mixing music with religion is something else than mixing religion and politics. Plus what Kerstkaas says.

And this is true too. But my main point is that politics shouldn't be influenced by something as religion.

And Clinton and the Democrats who declares herself for the people could really give 2 shits about the people. Like I said, we're screwed either way. At the end of the day, both sides sit down together in a members only Washington club and toast each other on another good days work lying, scamming and keeping the people down and divided. They are all full of shit. And we get what we deserve. We're about to have a President who is either a huge blowhard, or more likely, one who is a lifetime criminal and should be sitting in a 8 x 10 rectangular office rather than an oval office.
