Every time, I met Mike at various Alarm events, he's always been so engaging. Back in the fall of '23 I was fortunate enough to be able to do a charity walk here in Los Angeles from Venice Beach to Santa Monica (see attached picture, I'm in the middle behind Jules and Mike). We all had a chance to spend time with Mike and we stopped a couple of times and Mike played for us. A few days later, I caught a show my last show of Mike's. We sure lost a great one today!!

What a great experience that must have been, brilliant anecdote. Thanks for sharing
  3. The Passing of Mike Peters has really hit me hard. My first real rock concert was seeing The Alarm in the late 80s. I was going to see The Alarm on their tour cancelled because Mike was unwell.
My lesson is that we have to cherish the bands we have left while we still can. I am grateful for recent and future opportunities to see U2, The Cure, RHCP, Pearl Jam, and Garbage to name a few bands. Thank you for being a true warrior Mike Peters and for the killer music. RIP.
