    Just to touch on the 'hipster' element mentioned above, I definitely think that is a factor. There is no argument that the sound quality is awful and that it gets steadily worse with age. But as Daymo1202 was saying there's a lot of nostalgia wrapped up in these little U2 artefacts, especially for those of us from the pre-digital age!!
