1. I've never seen it before as it is, different than red rocks video... TV special?
  2. Never seen this (my guess is - indeed! - MTV footage), but it is heart warming

I love it when Bono is so relaxed...

This SBS video is what turned me on...forever
edit: although this might just show some alternate footage...
  3. What a Concert by the way....
And what a good feeling being in love with u2
The best thing that could happen in My life
  4. A life-changing live album, still have it on vinyl. I remember watching the US Festival show from Devore, California (May 1983) on Irish TV and U2 were good at that show but a week later at Red Rocks, it was never the same for them again. A magical time to be a young U2 fan!!!

I read that the Alarm was also scheduled to appear at Red Rocks that same night but pulled the plug.
  5. Bono: "It is ten degrees below very cold... It never goes above this in Ireland"

Brilliant video, I'd never seen it either. That cold night of June in the mountains of Colorado made history.
  6. And the picture is also incredibly sharp btw...a true gem
  7. Yes, it surprised me! Much (much!) sharper than my 32 years old VHS
  8. I still have the VHS too (even if I have no player for that )!
  9. Same here! No VHS player anymore, but still got some of these old jewels Dire Straits' Alchemy, Pink Floyd's PULSE, The Police's Synchronicity and a few other are still around
