Actually, I love most of chill U2.
Love Sleep Like a Baby Tonight, Moment of Surrender, Drowning Man, If You Wear That Velvet Dress to name just a few chill U2 songs.
We are all entitled to our own opinions and I certainly respect that and this forum.
It's just for me, Grace literally hurts my ears. The music/melody doesn't match for me. Never has and never will. And the lyrics make me cringe. "She carries a pearl in perfect condition.." Ouch....
  7. I can’t stand When Love Comes to Town!
  8. New contender: Angels Too Tied To The Ground
  9. Man...after all of these years, I still GREATLY dislike Babyface
  10. Man and a woman
    Every breaking wave
    Sometimes you can’t...
    2/3 of SoE

I think i posted this before but realy dislike the u2 direction since the 00’s

Love zooropa from start to siren. Best u2 album ever
  11. THIS!! U2 trying so hard to be something they're not, feels completely forced. BB King's part is good, nothing against him. The whole thing makes me cringe.

My least favorite U2 song, however, HAS to be "Big Girls are best". Just a really stupid song. Good thing it's a forgotten b-side.

But "Get on your boots"... WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? I think that's just a case of nobody being able to tell Bono that those were dumb lyrics. Yes, the music is definitely a Vertigo 2.0, but they could've made something cool out of it anyway. The "Let me in the sound" bridge is cool. It's lyrics that absolutely tank this song.
