1. With all the talk about Pop recently (on forums and apparently by the band - Instagram, Discotheque video) I'm afraid that there MIGHT be some Pop on the EI tour, which I'm annoyed about b/c I'll be missing it. I've got some theories as to why they aren't playing Toronto, the main one being that there's simply conflicts in scheduling. It's a big market and has always been kind to U2. I was surprised that IE only had (2) Shows, and Montreal had (4). Perhaps that's why they're back there? Anyone have any thoughts or insights? As I said, if the tour comes and goes and I miss a one-tour-wonder it would be unfortunate. I could stand missing SOE I think, but if they bring back some other items.....
  2. Why no (insert city I live in/near)?
  3. I would guess its mostly just conflicts in scheduling anyway that would prevent a city which otherwise is a no-brainer to be part of the itinerary. And where they can make the most money/pay as little as possible to the local promoters.

I feel your frustration, I've been suffering the same since 2005 But you still have Newark, Philly, Boston, NYC and Chicago all within driving distance (or short flight distance) - not to mention Montreal! So you definitely have the chance of going to one of these shows
  5. Why aren't they playing Edinburgh?
  6. Why aren't they playing Syria?

Well my wife is due with our son on June 11th. Not sure a road-trip is in the cards! I've accepted it!
  8. I feel that for you, and yes I can appreciate the "insert city here" game; I was specifically wondering about Toronto because they haven't missed a tour since October. And I believe all recent tours have been sell-outs.......and yes I know there are probably other Cities that have missed a tour....and no I'm not counting Lovetown or Zooropa b/c they didn't hit North America....and yes, I'm having a pity party....all are invited! Heck, I'd even be willing to actually brag about having Justin Trudeau as Prime Minister if it meant a U2 show....well......

I'm with you, my good man.

I realize that individuals near other major cities might also be upset but they always go through T.O. Heck, aren't they on the ACC's Wall of Fame????? And wasn't everyone saying how the Toronto crowd "brought it" at the JT2017 show - and as a result they played an extra song (I Will Follow).

Maybe, just maybe they'll do a second NA leg (third overall) and make it back our way. I too don't think I'll be making the midweek drive out to Montreal. Bummer.

A 2nd NA Leg is my only hope right now! But yeah, the mid-week drive (from Niagara Region for me) added to the other goings on in life (sorry boys, but I'm more excited to meet my son than for an 18th U2 show) just make me realise that this one is just not gonna happen. And yeah, I agree the JT2017 show was amazing. I mean c'mon, Suzzane during Bad? And a pretty kicking version of IWF to close it off too. And anyone who's been to either that show, or any of the (3) 360 shows knows how cool it is to look up at the CN Tower. Remember the cheer when the Dome opened?!?
  11. I’m disappointed. Though nothing is close to me anyway. Toronto or Montreal.
