1. So if anyone has some info about this I'd love for some assistance. I'm looking at finding the best possible versions of songs like Glastonbury, North Star, Mercy and so on from the 360 tour. I was wondering if you guys had specific shows where you felt the performance or the audio quality are the best for some of those tracks? My plan was to slowly pour over the entire tour and find the hidden gems that way, but if you guys had some good starting points that would be super awesome.
  2. I don't have time to check now but there were lots of radio broadcasts for this tour which are all available here in the shows section. North Star is on the Cape Town 18.2.11 web cast. Return of the stingray guitar & Mercy are on the 26.09.10 San Sebastian Edge IEM. Of course Mercy was released officially on the "Wide awake in Europe" e.p.
  3. North Star: Coimbra with Drew's IEM matrix. Trust me on that one.
  4. Check your Private Messages
  5. Glastonbury: Frankfurt 2010
  6. I am not really answering your direct question but I was at Torino in 2010 where it all started for 3 songs...it was great to have Bono back after his long lay-off for surgery.
As for the 3 songs on first hearing...Stingray was like new funky intro music which was great for Bono's 'strut-on' ! There is a great multicam of this show which is defintely worth checking out.
North Star & Glastonbury were good to hear & a special first time treat but of course were just politely received as nobody knew them.
I did not really follow their development on subsequent gigs so would be interested on where the best versions are.
  7. Mercy live in Brussels was release on WAIE.
    Frankfurt indeed for Glastonbury.
  8. I still prefer Mercy from Paris... The sound on WAIE is kinda plastic...
  9. It's not plastic. It's vinyl
  10. Glastonbury from Helsinki is the best IMO. Especially the IEM
