1. So remember when the idea of a two night gimmick was discussed? A night of innocence and a night of experience? We now have two albums and I thought maybe it would be fun to come up with two setlists for a hypothetical extension of I+E/E+I.

Let’s say hypothetically that the band finishes up this tour and releases Songs of Innocence + Experience: A deluxe edition of the two albums with bonus tracks and whatnot.

In celebration they tour with the initial concept of i+e and do one night of innocence and one night of experience. If innocence includes everything from Boy to Joshua Tree plus SOI and experience includes Joshua Tree (allowing for a little bit of overlap) to SOE (minus SOI) how would you develop these sets? Feel free to throw in some unreleased stuff too or bonus tracks from the newest albums!

I’ll get to work on this and post my set soon!

Nice question. I am gonna think about this one too...
  3. Although the SOI show would go up to 1990. And the SOE would start from 1990...
  4. I'd rather conceive something that doesn't just date innocence and experience as separate album chronological concepts – for example, not innocence as Boy to JT and experience otherwise. Personally, I'd determine which songs fit appropriately from their catalogue as "innocence" and "experience", if you get what I mean.

Great idea, though, it would be good to knock up something.

Also fine by me. But would be the distinction for choosing I or E songs then?
  6. Kris did say "if" so I reckon it's interpretive.
  7. And interpretation is cool really. I was thinking maybe Joshua Tree/Rattle and Hum would almost serve as a better end of innocence as well as the beginning of experience.

So to me that is the grey area so really any interpretation of this is good!

    Unquote

Sorry, lost you. You mean this ‘If’ ?

I love this question, so looking for the borders...
  9. Should we pretend that the JT2017 Tour never happened?

True that. But for me AB would bet start of Experience...
  11. Fantastic idea! Is there a limit on how many songs for each night?
