  1. We're extremely off topic by the way!
  2. Whatever decision that is made, it will be made by Larry, who seems to look more and more unhappy and disillusioned each time I see him.
  3. That's his nature.
  4. Flash forward to: U2 plays the same show as in Omaha, speeches included.

    The Kimi Räikkönen of U2.
  6. I might even go to the Uncasville show.
Is there an airport there ?

The fact I’m not I’m the slightest worried about this being there last tour confirms to me how unlikely I think it is. I think the band will have a plan in place to continue perhaps after a bit of a break, I know factors can cause a plan to change but I’ve got no doubt there intention at least is to release more new music and play more tours in the future.

Edge sort of confirmed in that Rolling Stone interview recently that the band intended to take a long break but that they had plans to keep writing music, right? I’m more inclined to believe this is true coming from him than from Bono.

Anyway...this leg ending in Uncasville reminds me of 360 ending in Moncton. Not the likeliest of cities to wrap up a leg/tour, but happy for the fans there.
  8. Nope. Take an Express bus to the casino from Manhattan. Drops you off at front door.

This doesn't have to mean anything, really, but I don't take it for granted that they follow the same path as The Rolling Stones. Maybe they will once more "dream it all up again," and maybe they come back for a "Farewell Tour," who knows, but, yeah, this could also be their last...
If this was their farewell tour they should be ashamed
  10. It's not THAT bad..it's like a Broadway show now. For the life of me I still can't get why they aren't mixing it up more
  11. Or just unfortunate in terms of health.

It's just that everybody seems to take for granted that U2 will keep touring till the end of time. But the truth is no one can foresee the future. Not really anyway.

At least they don't have to be ashamed of themselves if they take a five year break. Or do they? And then as soon as they announce the next tour they'll be facing the "they're only in it for the money" and "they're too old" complaints...

No matter what they do, there will always be people to tell them they should be ashamed.

I just hope that experience at least learned them not to listen to what other people think they should and should not do.

And I just hope they will play Australia, New Zealand and Japan at least once more before they go...
