1. An anonymous source has informed me about something we may be getting in the next few years. A 2 CD remaster of All That You Can't Leave Behind as well as a 2 CD and 1 or 2 DVD box set version like the UF and JT ones from 2007.

CD 1 is the 2018 vinyl remaster on CD. (With the ground beneath her feet included)

CD 2 has the following tracklist:

    Electrical Storm (2018 Remaster)
The Hands that Built America (2018 Remaster)
    Stateless (2018 Remaster)
    Summer Rain (2018 Remaster)
    Flower Child (2018 Remaster)
    Always (2018 Remaster)
Love You Like Mad (2018 Remaster)
    Levitate (2018 Remaster)
Elevation (Tomb Raider Mix) (2018 Remaster)
Beautiful Day (Quincey & Sonance Mix) (Remaster)
Electrical Storm (William Orbit Mix) (Remaster)
    Walk On (Single Version) (Remaster)
(The order of the songs may not be exact)

All the songs have been remastered and mixed by The Edge

The DVDs will include the Slane Castle Show, The Irving Plaza Show, The Superbowl Show and a documentary similar to "A Year In Pop".

CD 2 and the DVD will feature different cover art work similar to the JT remaster and the box set will include multiple unseen prints from 2001.

Again, these are just rumors and nothing here is fact, I'll keep you all updated as I learn more.
  2. Very believable but unfortunately not particularly exciting. Swapping the slane show for a different unreleased tour show would have done the trick or perhaps something similar to TJT release
last year with a 2 disc option featuring the album and a concert on disc 2 that had been unreleased.
  3. What about Boston?

    Agreed.

U2 should really know by now that the only people buying these things anymore are their hardcore fans. Do they really think any of us don't already own Slane, and haven't seen the Irving show? It'll be cool to have that one on official DVD but still...

There are a lot of Elevation shows with pretty sweet setlists and performances.

I'll be more hyped when we see Bomb get this treatment and we finally get a good quality version of Mercy.

I’m more excited about the Achtung baby 30th anniversary release which is almost certain to feature some previously unreleased live show on cd or dvd given that they’ve covered just about everything else with its last anniversary release.
  6. How do we know thats happening?
  7. OMG FINALLY!

I really hope this is true!
  8. only interesting thing was the irving plaza show, the rest is nickel hunting

Is this wishful thinking or do you actually think they'll do another anniversary release?

I'm still waiting on an anniversary release for Pop
  10. I 100% think there will be another anniversary release for Achtung baby. I’m not sure about some of the other albums but Joshua Tree and Achtung baby have probably got a few more anniversary releases in them yet.

I only hope that if there is one we get something different.

The Uber Deluxe set I have from last time is pretty all-encompassing

C'mon U2, give us a remastered DVD of the Stockholm show or something. Washington would also be fantastic, but the video doesn't seem like it'd lend itself to that treatment as well.
