1. I don’t think it’s ever been done but I’ve been thinking about how good Where The Streets Have No Name would be as the final song in a U2 concert.

If its their final concert, it should be that song. Go out with a blast!
  3. Sorry, that would have to be 40. But I grew up in the 80's.
  4. i've always preferred streets as a kind of mid to main set closer, wouldn't want it to end the show.
  5. This song is so powerful that wouldn’t fit as a closer
    Opening song or middle
    No way as a closer
  6. It would work, a song that is the peak for any show it is in. So why not have it be the song they say goodnight to.
  7. agree... one day I would love to to see Streets as opener again
  8. an opener but no closer, 87 shows where it did open were an absolute rage, crazy scene's particularly Dublin, but the perfect closer will always be 40.
  9. I've always thought that U2's last ever concert should have Streets as the penultimate song, and then they could finish with With Or Without You. (Then the crowd could spontaneously launch into 40 for as long as possible...)
  10. Streets in the 2nd last spot makes the show feel like it ends abruptly and leaves you wanting more. Don't think it would really work last at all

This sounds amazing if the band just played 40 at the end,

Where The Streets Have no name
    With Or Without You
    40

That just looks amazing. I agree with what a few are saying though that Streets as the last song maybe isn’t the best spot for it.
  12. 22 - All I Want Is You
    23 - Streets <------- here
    24 - I Still Haven't Found
25 - Pride (In the Name Of Love)
    26 - Bad
    27 - 40
