1. Hello.

Once upon a time, there was an AMAZING forum on a fan site (like u2start or atu2) where fans that collected rarities could share them. Things like one-off soundtrack recordings, country-specific single edits, etc. I have since lost track of it, if it even still exists. Does anyone know of such a magical place? Please feel free to DM me if it is problematic to share publicly.

    thank you!
  2. was it maybe u2interference ?
  3. I didn't see it there but I did check. It was the first place I looked to be honest but admittedly I might not have scurried down the correct rabbit holes on there.
  4. Sounds like u2mp3s use to have exactly what you are talking about, don't think it exists anymore
  5. I think that was it. and I think you are right. at least I know I wasn't going crazy looking for it without success. Anything similar around these days?

It has been difficult, as Universal is up our asses. I know that they are sometimes reading along and if they see fans sharing 'official' stuff (even hinted to) they go after them and/or the site (in some cases us). This also makes it difficult for us to for instance facilitate stuff like that. We stick to non-official stuff here.

I guess a lot of this happens on Facebook as well, just in closed groups.
  7. I do facebook. Any idea how to find the groups? I don't really interact with music fan groups on Facebook, prefer sites like this.

We're not going to help you try to find official material for free download.
  9. I've given up searching for free stuff. Way easier/ less time to pay the $1.29 on iTunes or somewhere similar.
  10. There are private U2 forums that needs a invite.
