1. I'm not sure if this page has been created before but, whats your favorite U2 album / tour era? Heres how the list would go.
    Early Years (1976-1980)
    Boy To War (1980-1983)
    Unforgettable Fire (1984-1985)
    Conspiracy To Lovetown (1986-1990)
    Achtung Baby To ZOOTV (1991-1994)
    Passengers (1995-1996)
    Popmart (1997-1999)
    Elevation (2000-2003)
    Atomic Bomb (2004-2008)
    360 (2009-2013)
    Innocence To Experience (2014-2019)
Mine would be Boy To War. Whats yours?
  2. Sorry, but I think you arguably made some mistakes in classifying the eras.
Lovetown and ZooTV definetely do definetely not belong to the same era.
My suggestion is that The Early Years lasted from 1976 to 1980, then Boy to War (1980-83), then 84-89, then 90 - 95/97 and so on...

My favourite era would be from ZooTV to Pop, but I have to say that I enjoyed the past three years (2015-2018) a lot, too.
  3. 1) ZOOTV (1991-1993)
    2) Atomic Bomb (2004-2008)
    3) Elevation (2000-2003)
    4) 360° (2009-2013)
    5) War to Unforgettable Fire.

Ummm...your eras are a little off, at least in labeling and/or year boundary.

ZooTV actually lasted into the very beginning of 1994, and in no way could 1994-1996 be labeled “Achtung Baby” - AB was released in 1991. A more accurate label for 1995-1996 would be “Passengers” since that actually came out then (although in 1996, they were actively recording and finishing off Pop).

Having said that, my vote for favorite U2 era is the 90s in general and ZooTV more specifically.
  5. Zoo TV y’all
  6. Achtung Baby with its companion tour.
  7. ZooTV. Revolutionised stadium rock with its set design and crowd interaction. The album and show was a gamble but they showed the world they could evolve musically and thematically. The show itself was technical perfection.
  8. 86-90 without a doubt
  9. I've gone back and forth with this but in the end I have to go with Achtung Baby/ZooTV and it really isn't even close.
  10. AB/Zoo TV era. Just amazing times / sounds.
  11. Achtung Baby / ZOO TV Tour , the best tour in music history, crazy times, breakthrough record in u2's career
  12. The slap and tickle of Achtung Baby & Zooropa. Zoo Tv in context of 92/93 was amazing and reflective of so much, but even still relevant nearly 30 years later. Delivered on every level.
