1. Seeing as this is the end of the second decade of this websites existence let's give this a go. What is your standout U2 moment of this closing decade?

Post a photo, show, Youtube link or just a thought and tell us why.
  2. The whole Dublin 4 show in EI was magical, but for me, start of Gloria was nuts. Hearing the whole arena shout in unison 2,3,4 to a 36 years old song meant that I was witnessing one of my greatest moments ever.

I wanted to shout 'Hey,this is Red Rocks!' in Glasgow 2 2015 during Adams solo lol Totally agree,it was just brilliant to hear that live.

The moment of the decade has to be the album push from Apple.
They will be remembered for that.

On a personal note, hearing Bad go into 40 at Glasgow 2 in 2015 (I did start the 'How long?' on the way out too lol) the same show Love Will Tear Us Apart/Shine Like Stars snippet in WOWY.And getting to hear Exit,One Tree Hill in 2017 & Acrobat in 2018 live.

Overall,Glasgow 2 in 2015 is personally my moment of the decade, maybe ever.
  4. The U2 Radio X announcement in Japan.
  5. The 360 tour still counts. So that.

But also the 2014 Apple Event.
  6. announcement and release of SOI. It was a big surprise and the way they released it was quite controversial.
  7. Not a show specific but probably hearing tracks from Joshua Tree (basically side 2) that I never thought would ever be played live again
  8. It has to be the 2014 Apple Event. Such wonderful drama.

This image had iconic all over it when I first saw it after night 1 in 2017. I never fell in love with the tour sadly.

Such wonderful drama, but it's what made me a bigger fan of the band! I had been listening to U2's back catalogue in the months before the Apple event and became interested in the band again, then SOI happened! It's been a crazy 5 years.
  10. quite a few to choose from, the fly over at croke park during streets in 2017. the third dublin show on the I&E tour was special in 2015, the apple event is definitely up there aswell

  11. The Apple gate was good and bad getting the album without warning was amazing the vitriol aimed at the band wasn't nice the reaction was very OTT particularly on social media.
For me the highlight was them doing Glastonbury such an iconic festival which they dodged for so many years and they pulled it off just about.
  12. Baltimore/Glastonbury/East Lansing was quite a week.

Montreal and Moncton 360 were special. But I have to say that the Apple release was a highlight of the decade.

Notable mentions go to the NYC MSG EI and Letterman residences, JT Rose Bowls and Apollo shows just for impact.
