1. Well... we don't know what's left of his transplant or do we
  2. That’s not Bono’s book
  3. Yeah that’s just someone who tries to score some copies before the official one.
  4. I expect a Bono autobiography to not offer a ton of "news," but the main draw will be the telling of this story in his unique voice. Whether you find that method of delivery full of insight or long-winded (or both) will be dependent on your attitudes towards Bono.

  5. Here's the expected hyperbole about that book...

Unprecedented in storytelling and vivid detail, this biography reveals the heart and soul of one of the world's most iconic superstars. A journey of love and loss, art and faith, and the salvation found in both--this is the story of Bono...

Extensively researched and written in compelling prose that unfolds like a novel, this unique and intimate look at Bono's life tells of the critical moments in his journey--how the death of his mother at age fourteen sent him on a search that led him from the anarchy of his youth to joining a band, to forming a career as a true artist and the front man for one of the most popular bands in the world. That quest led him further on to working as an activist for the poor and needy and becoming an ambassador of love and faith in the world. Bridging all these moments together is an incredible faith that has characterized Bono's life in fiercely creative and unconventional ways.

With revealing quotes from the man himself about family, faith, heartbreak, and art, this is a must-read for anyone who's found themselves singing along with Bono. Drawing on hundreds of interviews Bono has given over his decades-long career, this book composes an intricate portrait showing the personal and spiritual becoming of a legend.

Authentic and gritty, Bono's story resonates with the daily fears we all have to overcome and our universal search for love.

He's also worked on memoirs for country musician Scotty McCreery, Ty Pennington of Extreme Makeover Home Edition, and Chris Kattan from Saturday Night Live. His first biography is Olympic Pride, American Prejudice based on the lives of 18 African American athletes who competed in the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin. Travis lives with his wife and three young daughters in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.

Extensively researched? We'll see... i'll judge that if I read it.
  6. Bono lines on the horizon as U2 star closes in on memoirs

U2 singer Bono is in the final stages of writing his memoirs, having signed a deal with Penguin Random House to publish the autobiography internationally. His former band manager Paul McGuinness has revealed that he helped negotiate the deal.

Bono will be the first of the four U2 members to put pen to paper. The band previously released a book entitled U2 by U2 with their friend Neil McCormick, which was based on more than 150 hours of interviews reworked by the music journalist.
