I would like to ask about a video which I can not found anymore, maybe someone can help. It is a short video with Bono sitting in a Limousine, wearing a black velvet dress, with his black sunglasses in the ZooTV period. He talks about U2´s first visit in Las Vegas in the "Golden Nugget" casino, where Frank Sinatra was talking about U2´s dress that night...and then a cut back in 1992 where Bono says..."well Frank, the times have changed"...
I would like to watch it again, please help to find this clip. Thank you and a friendly peaceful day to y´all.
Thank you discohype...but I could not find this scene, where Bono talks about the U2 visit in Las Vegas, where Frank Sinatra was talking about their cheap dresses that night ?
Discohype's link points to a 15-year old thread which talks about the Under My Skin video.
I think I know what video you mean though, and if I remember correctly it was a segment on the '92 thanksgiving special, which was concert footage mixed with loads of other bits.
I think that was from "Achtung Baby: the videos, the cameos and a whole lot of interference". I have it on VHS but haven't played it in a long time. From memory, there's a number of clips of Bono being interviewed in the back of a limousine and he tells the story of seeing Frank Sinatra in Las Vegas (around the time of JT) and him saying U2 didn't spend much on their wardrobe; which is where the clip comes back to Bono in black lounge fly suit and he says "Well Frank, the times have changed"
