1. Bumped into this on an hard drive while I was trying to find which of my JT tour recordings I had actually transferred and as usual got sidetracked.

    Known Faults:
    -In God's Country: start cut
-With Or Without You: start cut
-Last 3 tracks taken from D6 Master > DAT > CDR (?) (pitch adjusted and
    remastered)

I would consider this a major upgrade over the circulating version of U2's Tampa stop on the original "Joshua Tree" Tour. The circulating version version has the lineage D6 Master Tapes > DAT > CDR (?). Based on the lineage of the circulating version it was not one I guessed could be upgraded but after checking that version did not appear to have a stable transfer or possibly had some deterioration somewhere in the lineage chain.

This 1st generation version form the same original source tape is an excellent stable transfer from master to 1st gen to me and gave me a brilliant file set to master with the exception of the last 3 tracks (more on that below).
This 1st Gen version ran fast and has been pitch adjusted (-20 cents) to the correct speed, in addition all the standard pre-mastering corrections that are performed on all my releases have been executed (dc offset removed, de-clicking and the majority of up close audience noises and whistles that could possibly be removed without damaging the music have been removed).

Unfortunately, the last 3 tracks that were on a separate file were vastly inferior quality possibly due to tape degradation so I had to use the last 3 tracks from the circulating version. That version runs extremely slow and needed a +80 cents pitch adjustment. Finally, the whole show has been fully mastered and I believe is a significant upgrade to the circulating version.

Thanks to MR for supplying the 1st Generation transfer.
