  2. Not saying it's my favourite by any stretch, but the 2015 versions have always been interesting to me. It definitely served as more of a narrative moment than a musical moment, but their attempt to make it a reflective piece about their childhood and the disenfranchisement that came with their circumstances made it interesting within the context of the show. That whole stretch of songs was a recent live highlight for me.

    Seriously though - 1983-1987 versions are my favourite, with R+H being a standout. I like the 2001 and 2017 versions too. There are some good versions on Zoo TV but I've never found it to be a great fit for the concept of that show. Just too on the nose for me
  3. I agree with everything you’ve stated in that second paragraph.

    The 2015 versions were interesting (and fit the theme, of course) but weren’t standouts from those shows (imo).
