1. I’ve had too much time on my hands and yesterday listened to this concert all the way through for the first time in years. I find it to be their greatest concert recording in the history of the band. Bono, perhaps with his best live vocal performance. Everything is perfect with the setlist. I maybe stuck in the moment, but had they officially released this back in the day, it could have been one of the greatest live albums ever.

I have the Zoo Europa edition. Is there a better sounding one with a little more bass? I am hoping this is a part of the AB 30th release next year, but knowing them, it probably won’t.
  2. Go check the show page on here. Remy just uploaded my remastered version (I think it was my version and not the raw source). Mine was sourced from the original DAT, so no FM noise or cuts.
  3. Oh cool... need to check it. This was my first bootleg ever and broadcast in radio reason of becoming a fan!

Listening now ....sounds incredible. A lot more punch than the version I had been listening to for years
  5. I like it too! Indeed more punch. At the same time it also sounds a bit less ‘full’, which is what I enjoyed about the earlier versions. Perhaps the earlier versions had more ‘echo’?

Edge takes a back seat in the mix on some of the tracks on this new version
  7. I remember first discovering this show on Lime-wire in 2001.
Download of one song would usually take about an hour, it's amazing how much has changed since then. I've downloaded every version available since, I like Hoserama's version the best.
  8. Paid £20 for this on double CD back in 2000, ah heady days... still one of the best recordings!
  9. Same..bought mine in Rhythm Records on Aston Quay in Dublin in 2004. I remember the day clearly because it was the day I made up my mind to leave Ireland.
  10. I consider this to be a perfect show from Bono and the best vocal delivery of Streets ever. I find his vocals deteriorated considerably when compared to the Sydney show only a few months later.

I had no idea there was a new source. That’s this weekend sorted.
  11. Does anyone think this will officially get released for the AB 30? Does the band realize how great this show was?
  12. Remember that Saturday evening like yesterday... was a week after I saw them at Wembley. Taped it off the radio and then listened constantly on my Sony Walkman. I had a leather jacket and brought some fly shades from one of the Wembley concerts and I’m not ashamed to admit that I used to act out the concert in my bedroom. 😂
