  2. This surfaced last year, we discussed it somewhere. It's brilliant! Such nice and clear footage - albeit quite incomplete and annoying with all the cuts and the slightly distorted soundboard audio, and also Bono's raspy voice wasn't the best that night It's also quite shocking to see an outdoors Lovetown performance!

  9. Was just thinking about that today. U2 played in the USA every year from 1981-1987. Then, suddenly, they took 4 YEARS off from the US and when people came back, they got ZooTV. No internet to see what Lovetown looked like, or how the set changed. No message boards to debate what they could mean by "dream it all back up again"

    Unreal.

    there was the music press before the internet so there was quite a lot written about it and the band - and also there were the tv specials
