  6. I’d limit my picks to only songs they played on the 2017 and 2019 tours, actually makes it easier for me rather than having their whole catalogue to chose from.

    1. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    2. I Will Follow
    3. Gloria
    4. New Years Day
    5. A Sort Of Homecoming
    6. Bad
    7-17. JT
    18. Angel Of Harlem

    Encore
    19. Ultraviolet
    20. Even Better Than The Real Thing
    21. Mysterious Ways
    22. Every Breaking Wave
    23. Stuck In A Moment
    24. Little Things That Give You Away
    25. Love Is Bigger
    26. One (with the insistence that Bono sings every lyric and doesn’t hold the mic to the audience).
  7. You'd have them play six songs without a screen and five slow/ mid-tempo songs to finish the show that would be about 2.45 hours long?

Would be impossible to clear the stadium after that, with everybody asleep;-)

Better than them playing elevation and vertigo again, and again, and again, tour after tour, show after show. That’s what would send you to sleep.

Looks pretty good to me. However, I still don’t understand why they didn’t pull out “All I Want Is You” at some point. That will always be my R&H choice for a setlist.

Yeah if I opened it up to songs not played on the tour that’s the one I’d go for of R&H. Heartland actually would be my first pick from that album but that’s obviously less realistic. I’d probably stick All I want Is You after or in place of Angel Of Harlem.
  11. They absolutely should have opened the encore with a R&H mini set. AoH~Desire-AIWIY.
  12. U2 Joshua Tree/Achtung Baby Tour 2017-2019

The Joshua Tree in full aprox 60 min including breaks, rants, etc
(With the insistence that Mothers is the album version and not the awful, horrible,
wretched version they have been passing off as Mothers. This version needs to be disappeared)
Also, Achtung Baby in full aprox 65 min. In retrospect, this would remove any need for anniversary tours for AB, getting that out of the way. Maybe 30-50 shows each year, to give time to eventually complete, Songs Of You Waited Longer Than You Ever Have, U2's 2033 comeback album that with some direction from a professional consultant, Guns N Roses singer Axl Rose, explores themes such as writer's block, and OCD with deciding if a song will be relevant. It is U2's first album in 16 years. The 2017-19 tour would be filmed with 387,222 different 4K cameras, and would be released in 2022 on dvd, and Blu Ray. A special 2 CD set would be the fan club gift in 2023, and an additional CD from the tour would be included in a coffee table book for the 2024 gift.

    So:

    I Will Follow 3:22
    A Sort Of Homecoming 5:15
    The Joshua Tree 60:00
    Break
    Desire 3:00
    Angel Of Harlem 4:01
    Achtung Baby 65:09
    Break
    Encore:
The Little Things That Give You Away 5:03
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me 4:40

A strange setlist, which other than the album tracks has no rare tracks. It might have worked.
