1. I listen to this record weekly still. I find it cathartic and I think Bono’s vocals on a handful of the songs are the best he’s sounded in the studio in decades. It’s a total relaxed vibe, and a victory lap, and I love it
  2. Definitely a grower .

Jealous. I couldn’t feel any more opposite. I wish I felt like you.

Adam Clayton first mentioned on UK radio about revisiting old material and taking a different approach to it everyone assumed he was talking about songs that didn't make the previous few albums it was actually quite shocking to find out that he wasn't.
  5. SoS should have been billed as a low key Covid project or the accompanying soundtrack/score to Bonos book.

Unfortunately the band seems to spend a lot of time hyping up releases these days.

And bono needs to stop changing the lyrics.
  6. Listening to Streets from a Sphere show the other day and wondered how much concentration is required by Bono to sing the changed lyrics after decades of singing the original. No doubt the teleprompter helps, but his brain would be hard-wired after all these years.

Totally agree or a U2.com gift and would have kept it to 12 songs as a lot of them aren't very good.
  8. Not sure if I'm in a strange headspace today, bit I've relistened today after not listening to this album for 6+ months but it's sounded great!
