  1. Literally every time we update that article / or make changes to the formatting it's going to revert to "2025" because that's what is in the date field. Adding in the "early" is a manual process. It's not a change based on any information whatsoever.

    Last I heard they hope to finish it up over the next couple of months and are looking at early next year for it.

    So an 8 year gap between albums let's not count SOS as that was a Stopgap mainly by the Edge ,I suppose it could be worse some of their contemporaries have much longer gaps between albums Aerosmith, GnR and The Cure ,Billy Joel,Phil Collins ,Kiss,Eagles,Radiohead, and many more who don't even bother anymore and just tour off their back catalogue as new music from older established artists is extremely hard to get airplay for and is largely ignored by their fanbase who just want to hear the old classics ( apart from U2s fans of course)
