Has anyone seen these guys or heard of them before. They’re gonna be performing soon and I’m not sure if it’s worth the forty minute drive. Anyone have any experience with them?
I understand that this is a studio produced recording, lacking the energy of a live show. They all perform very well, but it just sounds like U2-lite. I think the singer does a good Bono, even if it sounds like he's trying a little too hard. The drummer is maybe a little too light-handed. I feel like for performing live they would need to increase the tempo a little bit.
They're not bad, I'd check them out if they were in my local area.
