1. I believe this show was broadcast to the US contest winner(like Stockholm and Adelaide). Does anyone know if the feed has ever seen the light of day?
  2. Based on what? First thing I ever hear about it.
  3. Nope... it's true... I believe it was mentioned (don't remember the city but Outside Broadcast US leg) as long ago as in Pimm Jal U2 Live book... nothing ever surfaced which is a crying shame
  4. I hope it looks as it sounds!
  5. There was always this rumor about a ZooTV tour pro shot.

Yes. The U2 Live book is where I first read about it.
  7. I wouldn't be surprised if it exists. Every ZooTV show was pro shotted.
  8. Yep. My first U2 show was Outside Broadcast Ames, IA.
I've been lucky enough to obtain the first two songs from that night in pro shot. Oh to have the entire show.
  9. It probably is in the hand of some so called "elite" collector who swore that if he was at gunpoint from a rouge regime, saying his life would be spared for delivery of a rare recording, he would rather die than divulge where it was hidden. The joy of getting a new bootleg is only exceeded by the pure joy an elite collector can have knowing that nobody else can enjoy something.

In reality, somebody probably promised somebody in like 1993 that they would never let something see the light of day. By 2022 whoever made these unsavory pacts may not even care anymore, but the one with the rare recording will tell you it is life or death. Sad that such traders exist in both the U2 and Prince circles. Such is life.

Yeah. I've been aware of the elite traders for years.
Ah well. What do ya do?
  11. Make lots of money and buy it. Or tape some really cool stuff and join the circle(s).

    I did #2...still working on #1.

Yeah. Not possible for me to do taping and join the circles. I'll just enjoy what's been shared and be good with it. Have been for the past 30 years.
