  2. So any word on if this is a song that wrote and recorded last minute for the Sphere (a la Glastonbury,) or a song they were already working on that they reworked last minute for the Sphere (a la Volcano/American Soul)?

    A la Glastonbury, I think... the song is not worked like they ussually do.
  4. I like the verses, but that derivative chorus does it in for me. Not only do they rip off the most famous Blondie song, but the lyrics are like ChatGPT Bono.

    It’s not a rip off it’s an inspiration. Blondie is even credited.

    U2 has made 7 good songs in the last 20 years (2004-2023):
    Vertigo, City of Blinding Lights, Magnificent, Every Breaking Wave, Iris (Hold Me Close), The Little Things That Give You Away and Ordinary Love.

    I love this. The eco hypocrisy was blinding and it did make me understand how the population have just dismissed all of Bono’s previous humanitarian efforts without a thought.

    Bono and Edge talking climate crisis does mirror the ‘near billionaire begging for donations’ narrative somewhat.
