1. How lopsided towards the US will it be though

Whatever it is they will be doing for promo.
  2. Hopefully not at all as they spent enough time playing in US in recent years. And because I definitely won't be allowed there because of my social media posts
  3. I have a strong feeling the tour kicks off in Europe. But I also have a suspicion the band only plays EU and USA
  4. I think Latin America will get their turn this time as well.
  5. Adam said something along the lines of they will try and visit everywhere they can on the next tour. If I remember correctly...
  6. Let’s hope for an announcement early next year!
  7. I'm actually pretty confident that this upcoming tour will cover a reasonable amount of ground, especially with the rumours of a European stadium leg to start. Traditionally in the U2 world, it's only arena tours that suffer from a lack of countries visited: Elevation, I&E, E&I for example.
  8. I think best case scenario is some promo shows when the album is released late next year. There’s no indication of anything coming before that.

Correct. It was something like - ‘..with the Sphere, the fans had to come to us.Next time we go on the road,we’ll go to as many fans as we possibly can..’

Why wait for the anniversary? Just go and get out there and play when they have a new album / single to promote. No sense sitting around until late September.
  11. Any predictions when the tour will be announced? I'll go with September/October maybe...
  12. I imagine they will use the 50th anniversary as a springboard to launch the album and tour. Sept 25 1976 was the day they met in Larry’s kitchen, so sometime around that.

I wouldn’t expect to hear a peep out of them before that.
