1. Thanks to the band's decision. Many Asian people were able to see their show for the first time or after a very long time.

  2. Well POST Sphere a huge AB30 wouldnt make sense. But a few select dates? Bring it.

Did the band want to do more JT shows in general or did they want to do the JT shows specifically in Asia?

Was the EI tour ever discussed for Asia? Or did doing stadiums automatically rule that out?

  4. Nope we have to hope for Passengers30 tour! Larry
  5. U2 25/26 Tour Thoughts...

I'd be happy with just a tour - not another nostalgia tour nor an anniversary tour (no thanks)

Just a new tour with new music and the same old warhorses in the setlist (well, they ain't never gonna drop 'em are they) that will do just fine for me

I'll go to 4 shows regardless (if I can)

The plan in 2018 was to go to Australia at the end of the EI dates in Europe to take the Joshua Tree tour. At that point they were batting around calling it the LoveTown tour. They pulled the plug on that around June of 2018, before it ever got announced, and decided to hold it back a year. I was in Boston at a show when I was told it was all put back a year. They felt they were going to want some rest. It was still planned to be the Joshua Tree stage and the Joshua Tree setlist.

So the EI tour, even when they were right in the middle of it in the US, wasn't a consideration for Australia.

Do Live Nation decide where and when they tour for example they haven't played Eastern Europe since the 360 tour where they have a big following ,the JT and E&I tours were quite sparse on dates in Europe compared to previous tours but the US as usual gets well catered for.🤔

  8. I really wish they’d bring some of their arena shows down here and schedule 2 or 3 months in the country like they did with LoveTown, rather than limit us to stadium shows so that they’re in and done within 2 or 3 weeks. They could put on more shows, with less moving around, than a European or North America tour; which surely has to appeal when the northern hemisphere is in winter.

If Live Nation held all the cards, then U2's 2019 tour would have been in the US. The band do have some say. They have someone at the table when dates are being decided. A lot of it these days is dependent on what venues Live Nation has rights to in North America at least. But a whole bunch of things go into it. And the band has vetoed some stops along the way as well.
  12. for the next tour i need atomic city in the setlist
