You should put IMHO somewhere in that paragraph.

  2. You make me sad, Sir Knight. Seriously, that sucks. At least Green Day finally released American Idiot in Atmos. I guess I'll have to stay contented with that.

If there was going to be a Dolby Atmos version, I can't imagine they'd hide that. And they'd have it up with the other previews.

The team doing the Dolby Atmos mastering said it would take about a year for the next to be done, and they had plans to work through the albums. The "Achtung Baby" one was done at the end of January, so it may just be too early to get another.

I think what I don't get is-- why bother to do a big box set and NOT put at least the original album in Atmos? Preferably the live tracks as well? Just feels like a wasted opportunity.

    30th Anniversary.
  5. Mercy sounds good in the new preview posted.
I refuse to use the newer name. It sucks
    Haha
  6. last verse is almost completely changed, and that seemed the most unapologetically u2 part of the song. look forward to hearing anything new, but doubt i will like this more than the "unfinished" version.
  7. At least there is still a version of the original on youtube.

Nah, it’s better than most of their output since lol. It hasn’t made the last 4 albums because U2 are U2 - a band that makes odd decisions, particularly about songs/albums that they deem unfinished.

The only explanation you need for why Mercy never came out is the same one for why Bono thinks the lyrics for songs like Bad or Streets are “bad”.
