  3. Bono's been known to hold on to and recycle certain lines or phrases for years until they'd eventually find their way into released songs. I was recently reminded that "Freedom has a scent like a top of a newborn baby's head" first appeared in Levitate during ATYCLB's sessions before it eventually became part of Miracle Drug lyrics.

    That would be a great date. We are a little soon to V - U2 and ZooTV Live EP to announce something new.
  10. If there was ever a lyric that I wish Bono had lost the notebook it was in, this is definitely top 5 for me. The line pains me every time I hear the song - which I otherwise enjoy. Like nails on a chalkboard mid tune.
  11. They have a bunch of things coming up that will be announced in the next few weeks.

    - coloured vinyl release of U2 18
    - Atomic Bomb boxed set
    - Bono's film on Apple TV
    - Record Store Day single

    I know most people just want to hear when the album and tour is, but they do have a somewhat busy period of older material ahead of them these coming months.

    Target already spoiled the coloured vinyl, but have now taken it down. I suspect that's next. It does seem a bit early for the Atomic Bomb boxed set to be announced, but those Mercy take downs make me think its coming sooner than later. The Record Store Day single should be announced toward the end of September.
  12. If the Bomb box set is actually good, I think I'll be pretty satisfied in the interim between now and the next album. Really crossing my fingers for some actual unreleased material, I enjoy hearing bands work their material out.
