1. I would be fine if they do Chicago IF they fix the audio which they could absolutely do. It has a good setlist. 8 HTDDAB songs. It would be nice if they remastered the video too. The track listing imho is one of the best for the Vertigo Tour. I will take any live material off of the tour
  2. Do we feel confident this will actually be released? I don't know that much about the sources/their reliability but really hoping we do wind up getting an official release of OG Mercy.
  3. Wouldn't mind Chicago, I'd love to have a semi recent performance of An Cat Dubh/Into the Heart on Spotify

What's the big issue with Chicago's audio? I thought it held it's own against their other official releases. And I completely understand that we all have our tastes, preferences, etc. I thought Bono came across clearly, as well as the instruments.

Agree I thought the sound quality was excellent one of the best of the official releases ,maybe those complaining need to invest in better speakers.

Listen to say beautiful day from the Slane performance and then play beautiful day from Chicago. There’s a huge difference with the sound feeling less full and vocals more distant in Chicago compared to Slane. Better speakers will only highlight that more.

I hear you.. it's interesting looking at those two - I always tend to judge everything based on how the instruments sound first- with Slane, everything sounds up front, including the vocals. I like Chicago mainly because of how the instruments sound to my ears. You're right, the vocals in Chicago are definitely at a softer/lower level.. I happen to like it.. I think the star of that recording is Adam's bass- it sounds fuller and richer than the other instruments..that recording seems to have the bass and drums more prominent, to my beat up concert-going and 30-years-of-music-playing ears 🤣
  8. Slane is the weakest of the three IMO in terms of the setlist. Great atmosphere, but it misses out on a lot of the highlights from the Elevation Tour (Gone, The Fly, Bad, the Mark Chapman rant in Bullet...), and it's a bit too mellow for my taste.

I find Boston to be a superior show.
  9. I don’t care what live show we get, I’m just glad they’re doing this 20th anniversary set. As long as there’s a live show
  10. I wouldn't mind if they cut out all of the warhorses for this one and relied heavily on HTDAAB live songs.
  11. If you were in New York City at the time, you know that U2 put on some of their best live shows at MSG (second to none). Would love to see one of those shows come to light as an official release.
