A visual feast with Plato's cave and Church of the Light motif, the return of the "I Could Have Lost/Found You" intro, Edge's guitar chainsawing through Bram's pummeling drumming, supported by Adam's booming bassline, and Bono's Fly attitude made it one of the highlights of the gig. His vocals were on point during the gigs I've seen.
I waited 30 years to experience that again. It blew my mind in 1992 and did again in 2023 and 2024. The best feeling was the sphere opening night...not knowing how it was going to open, seeing the band walk out and hearing Bono start belting out I could have lost you. I had no idea that they even remembered that, let alone would perform it again. Great moment for sure

Likewise. I was there on the third night, thankfully unspoiled. The euphoria started during the I Could Have Lost You intro and pretty much never waned.

The Love is Blindness solo was without a doubt highlight of the 10 U2 shows I've seen. Fantastic dark visuals as well.
  3. Would have preferred the starfields again for LIB . Missed a trick there Willie
  4. The visuals of the bugs slowly engulfing and suffocating the screen were a subtle highlight, representing (for me) terror and death, which mirrored the darkness of the song with its effective imagery of terrorism and loss.

The performance itself had a bit of a Scott Walker/Jacques Brel crooner vibe this time around. And Edge's guitar playing was just as good as during the Zoo TV days.
  5. The images were simple jpgs, gifs and AI generated images. Get every little child on the computer.
  6. That is absolutely not correct. Why do you remain in this community when all you ever do is post a bunch of negative feedback. It's unnecessary and not contributing at all in a positive manner.
  7. They really weren’t
  8. You forgot to mention that 'it's just a curved screen that everyone has at home' and '4K is outdated'
  9. You are the most misinformed person I've ever seen. How about you leave this community and go produce your own 16K, 260 million pixel video content for a curved screen, and then come back once you've accomplished that?
  10. That's an insult to everyone who worked on the show at Sphere. From special effects specialists like the team at Industrial Light and Magic to artists like Es Devlin. Some of it was more advanced than other ideas for sure, but it was far from the work of a child.

Honestly I was amazed by what I saw at the shows I went to. When that sun rose in the sky over the desert for "Streets" I had chills, and at times forgot I was inside. Other times you'd find yourself looking at things and trying to figure out how they did what they were doing.
  11. At least you got your 5 minutes in the spotlight again. Well done 👍
  12. I know you just like to kick up shit, but are you ever remotely concerned with being seen more of an uninformed fool than a shit starter troll? Because this just reeks of “I know absolutely nothing about anything and am proud of it” it costs tens of thousands of dollars to produce the effects the band used inside the sphere. Having displays produced at that size and scale alone is astronomical. Everytime I see one of your posts I wonder the same thing, “why are you even here”? Isn’t there something you DO like that you could be spending your time and energy on?
