  2. It appears that the arrival of V-U2 has been a big boost for the Sphere. In large part because it has taken showtimes away from Postcard From Earth, and some of the remaining Postcard showtimes have been selling like hotcakes due to people having fewer times to choose from for that movie.

    I'm only half kidding. There's actually a UFC fight this weekend which is taking over the Sphere for a few days, stopping both movies from playing. A few specific showings of Postcards do seem to be benefitting massively though. (I think they cancelled a few showings to make room for UFC, and I wonder if folks who bought tickets were offered upgrade/discount tickets to these other shows instead. That could explain it.)
