I've always preferred Fast Cars over Xanax and Wine, but this new version is still a groove. When I first listened today, I was jarred by the sudden edit to a verse I'm so used to hearing. I'll get used to it though!

This is what l feel like listening to the structural changes during Picture of You after listening to Xanax and Wine for twenty or so years!
The structural changes in this version are way too jarring. I'll take the Medium, Rare, and Remastered version every time.

In parts, this version sounds Like very early U2 and reminds me of those early demos from around 1978. I like it.
