One of my favourite U2 lyric, shame they didn't added it to this version
  2. ‘If your heart is full, I’ll be there to bleed it’. This lyric isn’t as nice as the original.
  3. Bad only debuted on 18 October 1984 so I’m unclear what distinction you’re trying to make here by referring to “post 84” when that’s 95% of performances. Were the performances in 84 different?

For me, Bad is a good album track but it goes up a level or two live; so I’d put Luckiest Man In The World as the starting point (album Bad) and Mercy 2004 higher (live Bad)

  4. I think Mercy (360 version) is gonna be on SOA

Post 84 meant all known live versions of Bad. Which most fans agree were amped up relative to the studio release on UF.
  6. It would be brilliant if bono sung it fully in 2024 and use it as b side with the OG as a new single
  7. Hopefully a double A Side. Don't want to create a rift in the U2 fan community.
  8. I hope Bono uploads a YouTube video of him destroying all unofficial recordings of Mercy/Luckiest Man.
  9. I doubt it. I think luckiest man in the world will be what the band considers the definitive version of that song.
  10. I actually are not that mad about the rework. Except for the title.
What a stupid cringey long name.
    Mercy was perfect
