    A lot of people went to see, as I call it, 'Nearly U2' - no offence meant but without LMJ there ain't no Santa Clause - but couldn't the band just have used a drum machine or even a Larry Hologram? Larratar

    Instead of Bram very kindly helping out, wouldn't this have appeased those righteous U2 fans (and I include myself within that crowd) that were unhappy with 'Nearly U2' being called U2 for The Sphere shows?

    I mean, this could have even worked better: literally Even Better Than The Real Thing
  2. Drum Machine would be difficult for them to stay with, and you'd have to have somebody managing that drum machine. You know who else can do it...a drummer!

    Larry Hologram would have been even more distracting than anything. And I think Larry would have hated it.
