1. Me too
  2. Got confirmation for Thursday
  3. So the whole thing is black and white eh?
  4. Making Stay from Berlin 2018 black and white and now this. The curse continues. I wonder what they'll make black and white in Heartland...
  5. I may be open to correction so apologies if I'm wrong but I think there is a little bit of color used at the end where the material is shot in Teatro San Carlo Napoli in Naples. Possibly for added emotion / dramatic effect it transitions into color for the last song or last segment I think. Once again - not certain.
  6. I attended the Los Angeles screening tonight. I wasn’t chosen through U2.com but as I live about 8 miles from the theater, I decided to try my luck to get in and/or possibly see Bono if he made an unannounced appearance as he was in town yesterday. As I was parking a friend who was also trying his luck told him they let him go in. There was no one checking names on a list. We just had to sign in. Even with his 2 seats and my seat, there were at least 5 seats empty for the screening in a theater that only held about 90 people. Maybe it will be like this in other cities?

I enjoyed the movie and having seen the live show, it was interesting seeing how it translated to being a film and seeing new items that weren’t filmed before an audience. Bonoman66 is correct, in that you do see a little bit of color at the end in Naples.

You're right, quite a few empty seats left in London screening.

I really enjoyed the film, it was shot and edited beautifully. In the end, didn't mind that the film was monochrome. Actually thought it turned out really well imo.
  8. I was at the Dublin screening tonight. There was no signage / merch in the cinema and no introduction, just someone checking names and another member of staff took some pictures of the audience. It looked quite busy from where I was sitting.

I hadn’t seen the show live but thought the movie looked and sounded great - the surround sound was particularly impressive. Having listened to the audiobook, I thought the show should’ve leaned into the words more and less into the music but overall I think it would appeal to a casual audience. I’m not a fan of stripped down, orchestral versions of U2 songs and some of my favourite anecdotes from the book didn’t make it into the show.

Nice to see on the big screen but I couldn’t imagine myself watching it again.
  9. It's up already [at least in the US] so you can watch now
  10. am in hospital but this movie will save my life, and bono once again, great night i’ll have
