  10. Just watched the short film. I feel this song would have been better and better well received if it was a one off tie in for that film only.

    I watched the Street of Dreams music video immediately afterwards. My biggest takeaway is that this doesn't feel like a U2 song. It doesn't feel like something they would put out, not that it's a bad thing. It doesn't feel like very U2 at all compared to their backlog. Seeing the guys in the video just didn't seem real.

    Interested to see how carnival this album actually is. Or whether this song will stick out like a sore thumb on it.

    It might've been better if they'd released the short film first, because even as a huge fan, it kind of made things click for me, and explained the full context behind the campaign. Then again, we watch their every move so although it feels a bit 'late' to us for them to suddenly realise this short film, most people won't even realise, so it will still make a positive impact, hopefully.
