As an example I’d say a 1 is very poor I don’t like it, a 6 would be fine I wouldn’t tend to listen to the song in isolation but I can somewhat enjoy it when it comes on an album or played live, a 10 would be perfect I love the song.
Studio only - There are a bunch of tracks that I prefer live over studio - Until the End of World, Love and Peace, Silver & Gold, etc.
1-3 - Subpar U2 song, wouldn't vouch as a good song to a non-U2 fan
3-6 - Decent U2 song
7-8.5 - Good U2 song, usually a really nice album track
8.5-10 - Great U2 song, love it, and would recommend it to somebody when showing off a great U2 track.
