    Before I download a bootleg I usually check to see if you have rated With or Without You as a great live version. As i keep downloading bootlegs untill I find my favourite version of this song, I thought I would just jump in and ask you for your favourite live performance of this song. Thanks

    I've done some research about this since WOWY is one of my favourite songs ever (especcialy with the 'shine like stars'-snippet) and according to other fans the following shows contain excellent versions of WOWY:
    1992-08-16, RFK Stadium, Washington DC
    1989-12-30 The Point, Dublin, Ireland
    1992-04-23 Vancouver, British Columbia - P.N.E. Coliseum

    Tempe 12/19/87
    Tokyo 12/10/93
    St. Louis 11/8/97

    Although you can't go wrong with almost any version from the Joshua Tree or Zoo TV tours. Almost every version from those tours had the great Shine Like Stars snippet and many of the JT shows had the fantastic Love Will Tear Us Apart snippet. The song isn't nearly as good anymore without those snippets.

  10. I also love the version of Tokio 1993-12-10, which features my 2 favourite WOWY-items: the link with LEMON and the Love Will Tear Us Apart snippet.

    If it had a betteer sound and Shine Like Stars, it would be a 10/10 version.
  11. It really surprised me the first time I heard that 12/10/93 version and heard Love Will Tear Us Apart. I don't think that snippet was played much, if at all, on Zoo TV. It fit great with the different last leg version of the song.
