  2. Does a complete recording of the Dec. 16th gig exist at all? I thought not even the setlist was known - let alone a recording! And having Andy joining him for Message is quite a big deal to go unnoticed imo. Is the date confirmed?
  3. I went to 15th and 16th, taped by different people unfortunately D who taped 16th missed off roxanne when he typed the covers but it is on the cassettes between little wing etc and Fortress

  4. Did you mean because it's not listed on

I don't think the cassettes I have of 15th or 19th are those ones either they are slightly better than good.

Don't stand so close to me from the 15th, listen out for the 'bloody hell'

  5. Completing the trilogy, fortress from the tapes of 19 12 1987

  6. Not only. I meant that the 16th and 19th setlists are not widely known or published anywhere, while the 15th is. Your collection is impressive and thanks a lot for sharing I'll include all this info on setlist.fm if you're ok with it.
  7. yeah, my sting collection really isn't it runs out of steam incredibly quickly after ten summoners tales. It does make me laugh when 30+ years on I still recognise voices on the tape. I know who says bloody hell, same on the 15th when someone at the end jokingly says 'is that it?' after two and a half hours. I did one last night where a voice exclaimed 'bring on the night!'

this one is accurate for the 19th

  8. Haha, just like Sting's career lol

Thanks again for the info. Coming back to one's old recordings always brings back great memories.

Do you actually have this show in your collection, the 19th? I'd love to hear this again,I was only about 6 rows back or so on the right hand side of the stage.Odd thing is,on the way back on a coach to Liverpool of about only 10 people this guy got out a cassette player and played some of it,so he defo recorded it.Remember him playing Little Wing,so makes me wonder if it was him who the original taper was as that was where the tape flip is in your text listing.Remember buying Can't Stand Losing You on 7" red vinyl from Probe Records before catching the bus down and taking it with me lol Also enjoyed Timbuk 3 as support that night. And for the record,I remember Everton drawing 1-1 with Arsenal at Highbury that Saturday afternoon,Dave Watson scored for Everton lol Also remember seeing the old Wembley Stadium in complete darkness which was a strange sight.
  10. That listing has nothing to do with me but you've done me a favour and proved there's at least two versions of the 19th. I can't work out who taped the 19th but they both still live in London as far as i know. The box writing implies it's mr bloody hell from the 15th. One day i'll put them out but i'm hoping the teasing will get me the six police shows i need to complete: hartford 13-8-83, birmingham 8-11-83, baton rouge 10-11-83, dallas 13-11-1983, denver 22-11-83, memphis 16-02-1984. At the moment the people who i know to have at least four of those aren't biting. Just about to give it another go.
  11. Hello, was anyone at the German shows by Mark Knopfler? At what time does he enter the stage.
