1. Hi does anyone know if there is a bootleg or any audio of the Brisbane, Australia ZOOTV concert. Thanx
  2. Unfortunately not, we have all widely available ZooTV bootlegs online at our bootleg pages and Brisbane is not included.
  3. G'day Michael! From Australia 1993...

Doesn't look like Brisbane or Queensland's there. Someone might be able to help you out if you do a quick introduction just in here: http://www.u2start.com/topics/13/

  5. Why are you mwahahahahing my friend?
  6. Suspect he's responding to the lacing or irony found in your initial reply.

Doubt he has it if it's not on here. You don't do you Sergio??
  7. The question remains:

Is it available? Maybe someone recorded it and is keeping it secret.
  8. There is no known recording of this show other than the recording done by U2's crew. There has not even been a rumor that I have seen about it being out there and available or that an audience taper recorded it.

  10. While working on the new U2start Video project I have stumbled upon some rare footage.

This is one of these examples.

No known recording of the 1993-11-20 - Brisbane show exists, so it's one of these shows where any document from it is highly valuable. Here we present you with a soundboard and proshot recording of Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World.

It comes from a private tape sent by U2's crew to one of the girls that went up onstage with Bono for the champagne thingy. Isn't it amazing? It's as ZooTVish as it gets

Here's the original comment by the girl:

    "cathlawrence: It’s all U2’s production company’s footage.
Back in 1993, when there was no internet o Google searches,
I made contact with their people in Ireland stating I was the girl on stage in Brisbane.
Then many months later a VHS arrived. It’s amazing and very special
    ".

    -----------

So, for the sake of completism here's the very only recording of Brisbane '93 that will ever see the light of day.

And yet another proof that U2 record most/all of their shows in soundboard and proshot video! Imagine if they ever open up these vaults...

    And here's the aforementioned video:

  11. This is both great and, most of all, highly irritating. Why, I mean, WHY, they don't open those archives?

Thank you very much LikeASong for this little gem from Zoomerang
  12. Boss watching that. The gesture with his arms from Bono to ‘...bring that girl up here..’ is very reminiscent of Live Aid.
