Hmmm... not quite sure how you just 'discover' something as significant as that after 5 or 6 years.
Anyway as per the news that emerged last year regarding his own personal tax affairs, obviously this is down to entities and individuals working for One, and none of this will be down to Bono himself - though as Captain of the ship, he will end up taking the hit for it all publically. Gotta feel for him really, he works tirelessly at all this, when he could just be living the life 24/7 as many others choose to, and it seems he gets endless flak for his efforts.
