1. It's not beyond the bounds of possibilities that he may have had enough of the band and wants a new challenge, it would be completely understandable having been together over 40 years ,TBH doing an album with Alice cooper was a strange move why exactly did he need to do that was he getting bored with the band or did he not like the musical direction that they were going in and wanted to work with other Artists that were doing music he could relate to and found exciting.
  2. Is Larry even in Europe? I remember him staying in New York for months in between tours and even after their last, so maybe that has to do with it

If we also assume 2+2=5 then I think this is a big hint that Alice Cooper is going to become the new lead singer of u2.

No.. it is. If Larry wanted to leave he’d leave. But he doesn’t and hasn’t. I understand these are quiet times in the U2 world and the silence gets boring so the theories get churning to give us something to think and talk about. But no one is going anywhere, when the band stops it’ll be because they decided it, not because someone left or they had to. They’ve been a close unit for 40 years, show some respect beyond half cocked theories worthy of the news of the world
  5. And for the record, Larry spent 4 days doing the Alice Cooper record. It’s something to do with your week, not a career path
  6. LOL the logic that says Larry is estranged from U2 for drumming on one song recently means that Larry really left U2 when he drummed on 10 of Alice Cooper's songs in 2017. It's not crazy or earth-shattering for one artist to work with another one. And why exactly did he drum for Alice? Money, respect, boredom 🤷‍♂️

    The money is immaterial.

So for Bono & Edge it would be perfectly normal to do things besides U2 and for Larry it isn't 🤔

The song is almost four years old anyway - a leftover from the last album Paranormal in 2017. Alice always said he doesn't want politics on any of his albums and it's more about that, if anything.
