1. Pet Shop Boys "covering " i.e butchering WTSHNN on BBC 2
  2. If I remember it correctly, it was reported in the UK by The Sun newspaper - so I use 'reported' loosely here - that PSB had called U2 boring around the time of this release, citing them as one of the main things wrong with the music scene at that time.

U2's retort was to send a fax to PSB simply saying: what have I, what have I, what have I done to deserve this. Loved that!

  4. OK, so why haven't we heard anything from the band in so long (I mean like news or updates)? Frustrating that they do so little in recent years to keep fans in the loop.

I don't think that's right, the keyboard player Chris Lowe is a super fan and that's why they covered streets.

    Well...

Bono was doing a book tour from November 2022 - May 2023.
Then there was atomic city + the Sphere from September - March 2023.
Then they just released V-U2 at the Sphere.

Doesn't seem very inactive to me.

I wish they were more active on social media themselves, not just the U2.com team making cookie cutter posts about anniversaries or the Sphere. Yes, those posts are relevant but I wish the actual band members had more of an online presence, even if it were just for U2.com subscribers. Like, give us something about what yall are up to lol.
  9. I saw a picture of B from a few days ago in Monte Carlo....he's been chilling there for awhile . The photo was taken earlier this week.
  10. Not saying I wouldn’t like updates but the guys are in their mid 60’s not a million miles from retirement age. Add to that various ops to 2 of the band members and I can understand why they aren’t the most active on social media. I’d have already retired by now if I was them, glad they haven’t and don’t want them to, but I would have had zero motivation to keep going with the amount of money they’ve got in the bank and having family. Good on them for getting this far and still working on new material behind the scenes and planning a tour around it.
  11. Many Bono pasta and wine photos.

Your post says: Then there was atomic city + the Sphere from September - March 2023
Should it be? Sept 2023 - March 2024
