    The album isn't done. No tour is booked. They are making progress. They are happy to be all in studio together working on this. Work is underway right now and all four are in Dublin. They will likely start making some decisions soon, but right now, it's not ready.


  2. Yes it was a hoax.

    Gavin Friday did his shows in Dundalk and Dublin this week. A lot of U2 fans took them in and a lot of things on social media putting us all in town, so people were guessing something may happen. (Not sure that's what lead to this or if it was just someone trolling, but there were others asking if something was going on...) Bono and The Edge were at the Vicar Street show Thursday night, and Edge popped by the after show party at the Clarence, and he also met with some fans up in Dalkey earlier in the day who spotted him at his lunch.

    But yeah, nothing going on with U2. But enough fans and U2 crew people in one spot that people were starting to wonder. (Ross Stewart photographed the two gigs I was at, Rocky O'Riordan was at the show in Dublin, etc.)
  3. Social media and FB in general is/are just a dumpster fire of bullsh!t this past 6 months. So much for AI being used for good, like how about you throw some of those algorithms on cancer research or how the universe began. So sick of it already.

  8. The next film from Ari Aster (Hereditary/Midsommar/Beau Is Afraid) used a familiar pic for the poster. It screens next month at Cannes and will get a wide release in the U.S. on July 18th.
