1. Jesus.

Obvious to me when seeing the link that it’s fake but still gave me a big fright.
  2. Dik’s still there to say: U2 were not U2 with me!
  3. Wake Up Not Dead Yet Man
  4. I want to apologize. Thankfully it's not true.

I always tell people to double-check any information before forwarding any info online.

And now I made that mistake myself - not cross-check and double check the fake news before spreading them. I did not even check the source first. Urgh. Stupid me.
    Won't happen again.

It happens to all of us. These things are designed to get attention, and to get people to share. If you haven't seen them, easy to get taken by them. One pattern I've seen is they almost always have a sports title or a team name in the URL sharing the information. It all seems to be generated by AI.
  6. If any of these stories were true, they would be picked up by reputable outlets.
  7. Surprised he's never joined them onstage for a song or two maybe on the next tour.
  8. True. But that - and an album called Man followed by The Hype Tour - would feel like the end is near for the band! 😂😂😂

  9. A work colleague was sent this. Almost definitely a scam surely.
  10. 26 Mountains 2 Mayo and Callow Events both appear to be legit, so it's a possibility that this is a genuine event. Might be worth emailing the Titanic Museum to confirm. I don't think I can justify the cost even if it is authentic, but a great opportunity for those who can!
