  1. So if they are working with Eno is it more likely the U2 album will be the Irish Sci-Fi Folk project they talked about earlier with Eno? And then is the recording they've been doing with Jacknife Lee a different project or the same?

  4. I don't think they have energy for both albums in a short period, but I think one of these two albums could have it hidden until they decide to release it

  6. I thought the plan was to release Ascent after this upcoming record? I still don’t know what a sci-fi Irish album sounds like
  7. I wished this band would’ve released a supposed hard rock record and toured clubs and theaters. That could’ve been a lot of fun.
  8. I’d love to see them do something similar to zoo tv releasing an album to tour then another album during the tour. I know it would likely be drastically reduced compared to the number of zoo tv shows but they could make it work. Feels like the sort of thing that could change the narrative a bit after a lot of looking back.

    Sounds like they've pushed Ascent off if they will ever return to it. Bono has been vocal on a couple of occasions now that he views the "Songs Of" era over with. Doesn't prevent them from releasing material under a different title, but it sounds like for now they have two other projects underway they are more interested in working on.

    So currently they are working on an album that the eta is 2026 and the tour 2027? I just want to make sure I’m up to date with all the info
