    In North America the first single is "American Obituary". In South America and parts of Europe the first single is "Yours Eternally", which is also being promoted to video outlets. "Song of the Future" is the suggested single in the UK, and parts of Europe. So I suspect they are talking about the UK charts? Can't see the article as it's behind a paywall.

    U2’s “Song of the Future” launches on a pair of singles rankings across the Atlantic. The track has clearly become the standout from the Days of Ash EP, as listeners in the U.K. purchased the tune in large enough figures to send it to both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales chart. “Song of the Future” kicks off its time at No. 89 on the downloads-only tally and at No. 98, in third-to-last place, on the list of the bestselling cuts of any genre or language and via any format throughout the nation.

    Looks like new security folks for Bono; a lady and a guy I havent seen before. I'd heard that Brian Murphy was retiring- don't know if true or not. Last I saw Brian was at the Cannes premiere of SOS film.


    Brian has been with him for other events since that time, including tonight. Don't think he's retired yet.

  12. Edge and Adam were at Gavin’s show tonight. BP Fallon was also there (sitting behind me). I thought I saw Bono but it might not have been him. Gavin is going through his Zoo tv era - this tour and album are incredible. Guggi was also there, as were the other members of the Prunes.
