It might not be the strongest song-for-song, but, like Joshua Tree or Pop, its real strength comes from what it is as a whole.

I love that album as well. As a whole it's just great and a rather unusual listen compared to the first three albums, you know. I think with that album they def showed that they are a band that actually can/wants to develop, unlike other bands... and I especially kinda love "Elvis Presley And America" for some reason. The only song I usually skip is "4th of July". Heck the whole era is great!
